American Committee Member Washington, D.C. Metro Area Sebra is a graduate student in the M.A. Asian Studies Program at The George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs. He studied Foreign Affairs and East Asian Studies during his undergraduate career at the University of Virginia. Sebra has also spent time at the National Taiwan University and National Taiwan Normal University in Taiwan. Currently a Boren Fellow in Taiwan, much of his research focuses on U.S.-Taiwan relations and so his participation in TASC would further enhance his experience of understanding ways to strengthen bilateral ties. He has interned at many organizations in the public and social sectors such as the United Nations, US Congress, and Global Ties U.S., the nonprofit partner of the U.S. Department of State on international exchanges. He sincerely believes in the power of citizen diplomacy and aims to work with his fellow delegates from both sides in solving pressing issues faced by American and Taiwanese societies.
