Sebra Yen

Washington D.C. Metro Area Sebra is a graduate student in the M.A. Asian Studies program at George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs, focusing on Taiwan and public diplomacy. He holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs with a minor in East Asian Studies from the University of Virginia, and spent time at National Taiwan University and National Taiwan Normal University as a language exchange student. As a TASC 2016 American Executive Committee member, Sebra witnessed the power of citizen diplomacy in breaking down barriers and strengthening global connections on the student-to-student level through a variety of educational and cultural exchange activities. He is committed to the mission of TASC in fostering the next generation of leaders for the U.S.-Taiwan relationship. His role as a TASC 2017 American Executive Committee member focuses on recruitment.
Sebra currently serves as a Research Intern at the Project 2049 Institute and is completing his graduate Global Capstone project on ways to strengthen Taiwan's regional role through an enhanced U.S.-Taiwan partnership.
